Because not everyone can run 100m with shoes untied
Usain Bolt of Jamaica broke his own world record, running 100m in 9.69 seconds to win the Olympic gold medal. All the while his left shoe lace was untied.
Last time our shoes were left untied we could barely shuffle to the sidewalk shoulder, let alone trot at a previously unearthly pace.
We wonder if Bolt, the fastest man in the world, is as fast as our kid Gabe when it comes to tying shoelaces?
