School, work, or just hanging out, being stylish is good. It shouldn't be your center of focus. But, it is OK to care.
Figure out what your personality is. Are you quirky? Bubbly? Girly or tomboy?
Figure out what clothes you feel comfortable in. Don't like dresses? Or maybe you love your Levi's? Find clothes you feel comfortable in and items that reflect your personality.
Ask friends with similar styles or style that you admire to reflect on some of your fashion choices. Find a close friend who you know will be honest.
Remember dress codes! Going to work in cut-off shorts and tank top isn't going to work. And a ball gown isn't going to fly at school.
